Why I Coach the Way I Do
When I decided to become a Personal Trainer, it wasn’t because I wanted to solely focus on changing how people look. It came from how I felt. When I first started training, I had no idea what I was doing. I felt overwhelmed in the gym. Everyone seemed confident and knew a lot more than me. I second-guessed myself constantly. I showed up, but I didn’t feel capable. I remember frequently feeling frustrated at my ‘failures’ - like I should be further along, stronger, better.
